T9 4spd weight

If you have a choice and can, don't use the T-9, get a Borg Warner T-98 4 Speed, for newer Studes. Much better with Syncros in all but Compound low.

My T9 was heavy enough that I had to use the engine hoist to get it lifted and bolted up to the engine stand.

If that is the same transmission as used in the M16 trucks, the answer is: "^%$#% heavy". Over 150 pounds, at a guess.
