  • Frame / Springs: What is this piece bolted to Hawk frame for?

    Hi
    What is the purpose of this three-lobed ( my original is missing a tab) sheet metal piece, bolted to the frame opposite the power steering platform? You can barely see it in my old pre-disassembly photo, in lower left. Also included a photo of a complete one for reference. NO idea what it is for..?

    It is to hold down the extremities of the rubber flap.

      Yes, the inner fender rubber that's torn in the picture should extend down and be held by the metal tabs under the steering box bolt.
