  • Fuel Pump Rebuild Kit?

I've got the original Carter glass bowl fuel pump on my 259, and want to keep the car all original. Does anyone offer a rebuild kit for this pump? I've cleaned and restored it to original... but need the diaphram.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but i've searched all over the internet and just can't find a rebuild kit. I missed out on a rebuild kit on ebay a few months ago. but thought nothing of it at the time.... shoulda just paid the 5 bucks...[V]

Actually Chris, you may have done the right thing by missing that ebay repair kit! It most likely was a NOS old stock one using the old pre-alcohol rubber diaphragm.

The new ones that I sell are alcohol friendly, you can click on my "handle" to email me.

You gotta get to know the real Stude vendors, Rich, Fairborn, Dave Thibeault etc. all could probably hook you up. Also I believe there is one non-Stude specific vendor that sells the "good guy" rebuild kits, something like "the cellar" but I usually just order from a Stude vendor when I need one, because they probably have something else I need at the same time.

Nate, I totally agree with you. I know there's a lot of folks around here that have parts for my car, I just don't know who they are!

Is there a post out there that has a run down of forum members and what they offer? Maybe that could be a sticky or something. I know it would save me a ton of time and asking "stupid questions".

        Rich,

I emailed you earlier today, let me know if you didn't get it. Hotmail was acting up earlier in the day and jacked with my account.
