    Another part I can't find. Anyone recognize it? It is tagged 525865 but may be 525565 ?Click image for larger version

    Both ends where the holes are have threads. Note the backside is 'hollow' So it must have faced away from view. Looks like a light or mirror bracket, Circa 1930's

      Stab in the dark: 55 station wagon back-up light brackets? Never seen one in real life, only pictures.

            It’s a bracket for an externally controlled spotlight for 1947 era cars.
