Between a Car Model 44 and a 1/2 Ton Truck, the difference is the Housing WIDTH and Axle Length, also the Axle Diameter at the bearing is for a Larger Bearing.
Only the Carrier, Ring and Pinion interchange.

I swapped a 1964 Cruiser Twin-Traction differential into a 1963 Champ 1/2 ton axle housing 25+ years ago, but I recall that the Champ axle shafts increased in diameter away from the differential. Therefor, I would guess that the hubs would likely not be interchangeable.

Do the 60 champ pickups have the same rear axle as the cars other than the wheel bolt pattern? What I'm asking is could the whole rear out of a champ be put into a car simply by changing the outer hub.
