  • Engine: ID engine in a 1955 Commander

I'm looking at a 1955 Commander Coupe with a V8 engine. How can I tell if the engine is a 224 or a 259? Someone has put a correct WCFB on it and I don't think a Commander could be had with a 4-bbl.
    Thanks

Thank you. I wasn't sure about where to put my question, so I put it in both places. I received great information.

My '55 Commander coupe with factory "Power Pack" came with a 4-bbl.
