I always liked painting. You see a big improvement in appearance in a short period of time, usually after much time and efffort on body work.

Sky Hawks are my favorite Hawks. What color will the car be painted?

Damn, one day I want to work on a car that has no rust or body work required. I bought one out of New Mexico and one from California, both have required extensive metal repair.

The last K body that I did over only had original panels for the roof, hood, trunk and one door when I got done and they all needed work. That was a NY car. Since then, I have only bought from the Southwest, Texas, etc.

Well, all I can say is, it won't be ANY problem making the Hawk look better than that POC!

They don't make Scions anymore either.

ID:	1725212As of last night, the car is totally painted...inside and out. NOW comes the labor intensive hard part...block sanding and polishing. All the primer layers were all blocked, before the color went on. I don't have pictures of the hood yet, but the Shipping Company smashed in the hood, pretty bad. Bobby Warner, the body man/painter, straightened it all out...not using any Bondo! Dan Sallia sold it to me, and it was PERFECT when he crated it up and Shipped it.
ALL the new weather stripping and body gaskets are ready to be installed...
