  • Cool/Heat: A/c sight glass

Just had A/C installed in the 62 GT Hawk. We used Vintage Air up to the evaporator. The evaporator was completely rebuilt. After driving about 30 minutes, decided to check the sight glass. Saw white fluid and some bubbles, what does that mean?

Run the car at a fast idle, if bubbles go away you are good to go.

if you are using R-134 freonfreon, the sight glass is irrelevant. You will probably always see something in the sight glass.
