Where can I find a diagram for installation of 1962 Hawk oil filter that rests on top of engine near oil filler tube. Thanks, Chet

If you have the '61 & '62 Aluminum Oil Filler Tube, the Base and Mounting Bracket, just Bolt it on the Filler Pipe on the Driver's side.
Then measure from the Base to the Left Cyl. Head Oil pressure source (it goes in the OUTBOARD Hole in the Base) and from the Base Center Hole to the Hole in the Filler tube for Oil return, and get Hoses and Fittings to fit.StudeRich

Maybe not full oil pressure, as there is some restriction from the restriction orifice and filter media, but the outlet from the filter does go directly back to the oil pan so there is a bit of pressure loss to the lube system. Bud
