  • Engine: Factory mounts for a SBC?

    Hey, all...

I'm about to swap my '51 Commander 232 for a SBC and wondered if anyone knew of any mounts out there that they preferred over others? I've heard that Studebaker made mounts for their late 60s cars, so I'm curious if any of these were good options for my project.

    Thanks!

Yes there are New reproduction Aluminum Front Engine Mount BRACKETS Originally for the '65 & '66 Lark Types, that fit the Chev. small block Engine Mounts and the Sedan, Lark, & Lark Type Frame, they should bolt to 1951 to 1964's.

    1563714 and 1563715 At: http://studebakervendors.com about $185.00 a Pair.

I have a complete set of mounts including the crossmember for the trans. if interested from a '65/6 parts car.
