  • Engine: Dropping the Oil Pan in a 1946 M15

Dropping the oil pan should not be this difficult. I had to remove the starter and cable to get at the bolts but how do I get the pan out without taking apart the steering linkage. It is close but just will not go. Am I missing something here?

Did you try rotating the crank to get more clearance or disconnecting and motor mount to raise the engine a 1/2"??

Jacking the frame up, and letting the suspension drop down, might give you a little bit room. Good luck!

Try a bottle jack between the spring and frame and push axle down a bit, one small one per side. Luck Doofus
