  • Looking for lower air deflector for '56 Sedan!

I am looking for the 2-piece lower air deflector that goes under the front bumper of my 1956 Champion 2 door sedan-mine is totally missing.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to who might have a decent pair for sale? SASCO has one of the two pieces, but the other is NLA.

The Studebaker part numbers are 1312840 and 1312841.

I have contacted several vendors so far with no luck.

    Thanks!

I assume 1312840 is the pass side(RH) and 41 is the drivers side(LH). Anyone confirm. I will look to see what I have.

On page 108 of the 1955-56 Chassis Parts catalog it lists the following:

1312840 SPLASHGUARD. Right, Radiator Grille to Bumper

1312841 SPLASHGUARD. Left, Radiator Grille to Bumper

      Thanks for checking!

Allan.... under the front bumper or under the grille??? If you mean the 2-pieces (bolted together in the center) that fit up under the grille (and stick in under the rear edge of the bumper), I have a pair here that you could have for shipping charges. Nice, used pieces.[^]
