  • Other: Window removal

I'm having a block trying to figure out these back seat side windows on my 2 door hardtop Lark.
there does not seem to be enough room to remove the window. I am stripping the car to go to body and paint. I got the front door windows out easily, but can't see how these back windows come out. Any help appreciated.

Need to specify year. They're not all the same.

Is it a sedan or a hard top? If build like most cars if it's a hard top you roll them forward as you remove them, If a sedan most cars it either tips to the outside or inside as you lift them up.

There is a pivot block at the door jamb with two bolts. Remove them to gain wiggle room. Remove the weather seal at the top first.

          It's a 61 Lark VI Regal

Early Larks(62 and earlier) had a padded upper bolster inside, and rollers under that. You have to remove the roller mechanism.
