        Hello,

I am sorry to hear about the passing. I did not know either one of them personally, but it goes without saying that the loss of a loved one affects us all in the Studebaker Community. Prayers be with Gary and family.

Bernadette Firce LEVITTOWN, PA - Bernadette Firce passed away on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, in Nazareth Hospital Hospice, after a nine-week illness, with her husband, Gary, by her side, holding her hand. She was 74. Bernadette met her husband Gary, the love of her life, and they were married on June 4, 1983, in St. Anthony R.C. Church in Trenton, NJ. Bernadette was born in Trenton, NJ and had been a Levittown resident for the past 30 years. She graduated from Trenton High School in 1958, and after working a number of years, returned to Rider College, earning a degree in accounting, after which she began working for North American Phillips (now Phillips). Bernadette loved traveling with her husband, visiting many places throughout the United States, and also Italy, France, England, Australia and New Zealand. She also enjoyed her visits to the casino, and was an avid reader and walker. Bernadette was past president of the Russell League, and the membership secretary for the Keystone Region Studebaker Drivers Club for seven years. She was a Eucharistic minister at St. Mark R.C. Church and Lower Bucks Hospital, a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and volunteered to do income taxes for senior citizens. Most importantly, Bernadette was a wonderful caregiver to Gary for the past eight years. Predeceased by her parents and her brother, Thomas, Bernadette is survived by her beloved husband, Gary; her cousin, Maryanne Ott, who was like her sister, and her husband, Frank, and cousins, Karen, Kevin and Bruce; her aunt, Carol Laffey; brother-in-law, Ronald Firce and his wife, Joyce, and sister-in-law, Karen Rollison and her husband, Dave, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends, and her cats, Tom and Nancy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, Dec. 27, at 12 noon at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown, PA. Interment is in St. Mark Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6-9 p.m. and 10:15-11:15 a.m. Friday at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe St., Bristol Borough, PA. In lieu of flowers, Mass cards would be appreciated. Arrangements are by Wade Funeral Home, wadefh.com.
