    William E. Floto, 78, of Geneseo, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Hammond-Henry Hospital Emergency Room. A funeral service celebrating his life was held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 30th at First United Methodist Church, 302 N. State Street, Geneseo. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Memorials may be directed to the William Floto Memorial Fund. Vandemore funeral home assisted the family with arrangements.
    William was born on October 10, 1935 in Geneseo, IL, the son of Ernest Floto and Helen (Withrow) Floto-Terpening. He was a graduate of Geneseo High School. He was united in marriage to Ruth E. Dersham on October 23, 1954 at the First United Methodist Church in Geneseo. William worked as a machinist for International Harvester Works in East Moline for 28 years, retiring in 1992.

    William was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Geneseo. He was also a member of the Big Six River Bend Studebaker Club for over 30 years. He enjoyed working on his old cars and their '57 Packard made the annual Spring trek to South Bend many times... hitting garage and flea market sales both ways. He also enjoyed playing cards, word games, and working on his computer. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    I quess I should check this thread more often.
    I enjoyed Bill's company at the Chapter meetings and meets through out the years. I will miss him.
