    From my e-mail:

It is with great sadness I must report the passing of long time SDC member, Don Richards. I was just informed that Don passed away last night around 9:00 PM. I was asked to notify all SDC members in my email list.

Here is the information I have at the moment:

Wake will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22nd from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home in Wilton, NH.
The funeral will be held on Sunday, Sept. 23rd at 2:00PM.

Members of SDC have been asked to drive their Studebakers. I was told this was Don's wish.

I'm afraid this is all I have at the moment. I expect more information to arrive in the next day or two. As soon as I have more, I will pass it along immediately.

Don and his wife Nancy (Ann) drove their Stude diesel motorhome all over the country. They attended military vehicle meets as well as Stude meets. Don usually brought a flagpole with a big American flag, a reminder of his many years in the U.S. Army.

The motorhome in South Bend this year:

    We'll miss you, Don!

Wow! I have known Don since the early 70s- always looked forward to seeing him and David Dow at York.
