Bruce Marlin Andersen, 78, of Napa, died April 17, 2013, following a lengthy illness.
A resident of Napa since 1941, Mr. Andersen retired in 1993 from Napa State Hospital after 35 years of service as a psychiatric technician. He also worked for a time for the Blaufuss family at the Saxon Cider Works and as a delivery driver for the Napa Ice Co. and Montgomery Ward. He was a proud member of the Studebaker Drivers Club and the Napa Coin Club.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene; daughter, Kim (Curtis) Trood; sons Rick and Kent (Nancy) Andersen; granddaughter Dr. Elizabeth Pinney and her husband Dr. Dan Pinney; and granddaughter Kendall Trood.
Private committal will be at a later date.
