I copied the obituary so it can still be seen when it dissappears in a couple days.

Just heard about Steve's passing yesterday from a wrecking yard operator in Napa. Steve helped me find many parts that I needed when I first got my 61 Skytop about 7 years ago. I continued to visit him as I needed other items over the years, the last time was about 2 years ago. He was always fair in his pricing, and had a huge collection of parts he had amassed for over 40 years.
He knew tons about Studebakers and Packards & was always eager to offer advice and help. He will be missed here in the Bay Area.
Any word as to where the parts and cars will go?
Perhaps there can be a sale with some of the proceeds going to his church and favorite organizations. He had some rare and interesting cars including a street rod he built many years ago with a Packard power plant. There can't be many of those around.
