    Frank Alden Williams, 90, of Elkton, Virginia, died Tuesday, May 30, 2007 at his home.

    Frank was born March 12, 1917, in Mount Sidney, VA, and was a son of the late Miley Craun and Ruth Shaffer Williams.

    He was a mechanical foreman at Merck & Co. for 39 years. He was a member of the Elkton Evangelical Presbyterian Church and the Elkton Masonic Lodge No. 74 A.F. & A.M. He was also a beekeeper for 25 years as well as a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club and the Greater Virginia Chapter-SDC for several decades. He was a collector of early 50's Lowey coupes and Studebaker paraphernalia. He was also a swap meet vendor at York, PA and other venues for many years.

    On Nov. 1940, he married the former Alicine Marten, who survives. He is also survived by his son, Marten 'Buz' Williams of Louisa, VA and his daughter, Loris Ann Dean of Waynesboro, VA, three brothers, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

    Frank was buried in Elkton, VA on Thrusday, May 31, 2007. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elkton Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 152, Elkton, VA 22827.

    Frank was 'one-of-a-kind' who never met a stranger. Loved his Studebakers and never threw anything away. We will miss him.
