  • Brian "Tiny" Turner

We heard last wednesday (18th May) at our monthly meeting that Tiny was found dead at his kitchen table that afternoon by his daughter - who came to check up when he didn't make a scheduled meeting.

Tiny had a 1955 Speedster which won both Car of the Meet and People's choice at the recent Aussie Meet in Fremantle. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to know him, only saying hello a couple of times.

Others may say more, but I feel it was a case of "going out at the top" re: the Speedster and it's wins in Fremantle.

    Vale from the Studebaker community.

It was very sad to hear about Tiny. As John mentions he did a beautiful job on the restoration of his Speedster and was about to enjoy the fruits of his labour.
He was a long established Studebaker owner and enthusiast who will be missed.
    Farewell old friend.
