  • Studebaker employee Donald Laskowski

Former Studebaker employee and South Bend resident Donald Laskowski passed away on October 27, 2021 at the age of 88. Except for a 16 month break to serve in the US Army during the Korean War, he worked in Production Control from 1951 through the closing of the South Bend factory in December 1963. For many people, where they work is "just a job". Dad was very grateful for the opportunity to work for Studebaker. He had many fond memories and funny stories from his time there.

St. Joseph Funeral Home on S. Mayflower Road is handling the funeral. Dad's obituary and funeral information are here:

Sorry to hear this, Mark. All good wishes to you and yours. BP
We've got to quit saying, "How stupid can you be?" Too many people are taking it as a challenge.

      Ayn Rand:
"You can avoid reality, but you cannot avoid the consequences of avoiding reality."

      G. K. Chesterton: This triangle of truisms, of father, mother, and child, cannot be destroyed; it can only destroy those civilizations which disregard it.
