  • Cox Email Outage

How many of us have had email accounts hamstrung by the ongoing nationwide Cox email problem?
I have had no email service since around 5PM on Friday afternoon.
Kinda puts the hurt on those of us trying to keep in touch with the family on the cheap.

If and when those IT knuckleheads finally get it squared away, I shall insist on a BIG adjustment in next month's bill..

Good luck trying to get your bill adjusted Chris. Our Cox e-mail is out too. It is affecting 10 states. Sounds like a someone hacked into it to me.

My Comcast email is ut, but not my wife's Hotmail...
I was on the phone waiting for an hour last night and the guy said he'd fix it. Guess what? He didn't.

I still use a cell phone to keep in touch with family.
Isnt as cheap as email but I think it isnt as impersonal either.
I enjoy hearing a voice at the end of the line.

Good luck trying to get your bill adjusted Chris.
I've gotten adjustments numerous times in the past.
They can't hang up until I do, and I don't hang up until I get an adjustment.

Evidently they have it fixed, at least in my area as I am getting some e-mails.

                Around 11PM I got 14.
Since I usually get 70 or so a day - and it's been over 48 hours, I think I'm getting shorted.... A LOT.
