  • Lest We Forget - Rememberance Day November 11th, 2012

    In memory of my great uncle - Boer War (1902 - Queensland 2nd Contingent). My maternal grandfather - WW 1 (Australian Light Horse 2/14th Regiment - North Africa). WW 2 - Numerous other uncles from my father's and mother's familes - Middle East, Europe, New Guinea, Malaya, Borneo). My father Sgt. M J Pettigrew M.M. MID - 2/7th Royal Australian Engineers - North Africa, New Guinea.

    To all the other combatants who layed their lives on the line for our way of life.

    "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
    Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
    At the going down of the sun and in the morning
    We will remember them."
