I'll take Christine the beautiful red 1958 Plymouth Fury ... maybe not as she would be last car I would ever drive !!!

One thing I though when seeing the specs is that this Yahoo article made an error when it stated that Christine was powered by a 350 CID V8 as I don't remember hearing of a Mopar 350. Well you learn something new every day the original Mopar "B" block started out as 350 CID with a 4-1/16" bore by a 3-3/8" stroke. Other B Block configurations were 361, 383 and 400 CID.

I dig the 5 window from American Graffiti and the Smokey and the Bandit T/A, but where are the cars from 2 Lane Blacktop?

Very cool to see the '61 Ferrari GT California from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" on the list. I've watched that movie several times just to see the car.

If memory serves correctly....the 55 Chev in American Graffiti is the same car that was used in 2 Lane Blacktop. Had a magazine feature on the American Graffiti cars from the late 70's, but I got rid of my old magazines (over 700 of them)last year. BTW, the 32 from American Graffiti was purchased from a local Bargin Finder stlye newspaper and was used 'as is'. Junior

The American Grafitti white 58 Impala is owned by a coulpe in a small town north of here...Colville.
The owner was raised in the LA area. Whe he was looking to buy his first car he found this Chevy that was being sold by a film company. It had been used in a film, starring a lot of unknows (except for the kid that played Opie) that wasn't yet released.
He paid something like $500 for it and was afraid it might have been to much.

It worked out well for him.

I hope to meet them and see the car at a local show....
