Those Morris Minors were cute cars, but $21,000 is a little high.

I really like those Morris Minors. There is a picture somewhere that I remember of a Morris Minor station wagon (Traveler?) that was used as a team service car for BMC. Out of it came a mechanic and tools to service a Mini in the Monte Carlo Rally. Those little "woody" wagons are cool. I believe there are a couple on ebay right now.

I drove a '54 Minor Series II for several years. Similar car, with an 800 cc OHV engine. That Tourer is a pretty car, but I'd say it's less than a "stunning" restoration. At least under the hood. I'm pretty certain the engines were never painted red. Also they probably did not use red heater hose and worm-drive hose clamps.
A high-end restoration would not have made those rookie mistakes. And the battery is connected backwards, and there is a latter-day "solid-state" electric fuel pump installed, instead of the old SU thumper.

Friend of mine has a '52 MM pick-up. Loves that truck.

Believe it or not we had a Morris Minor run at Maxton a couple of months ago. It was actually an SCCA road race car. I think it turned a little better than 90mph. I always thought that putting the 1275cc engine from a Sprite/Midget in a MM would be cool.

One appeared at the 2008 Pacific CanAm Zone Meet in Oregon City:

Look at all the Studebakers behind it in the top pic.
