      Always amazing how much the rear roofline looks like the '58 Studebaker 2dr Hardtop. Actually the other way around...Chrysler/DeSoto was first. Don't get mad.

            Looks like a 1957 to me. 1957s had the side spear that dropped down. 1958s had the side spear that swept up. Most 1957s had single headlights, but the Adventurer had dual headlights.

            When I went to try and buy a 11K mile, one owner 1961 Hawk, the same guy also had a one owner low mileage 1957 Adventurer that he had just sold. Both cars looked as new. He was more of a fanatic than I was. He washed his windows before and after every trip. He put cotton gloves on to handle any chrome or things inside the car.
