  • Rack and pinion steering

I recently bought a 1950 parts car for a project on which I am working. Someone has put disc brakes and rack and pinion steering on it. I am just curious as to what kind of car it came out on originally. Is there someplace on some part of it that would have a number or other marking that would show that it came from a Ford Mustang?

    Thanks for your help.
