I gotta say, that's some impressive work and dedication.

    But a leather-wrapped wiring harness? C'mon!!!!

Only holds 3 ? suitcases???? Sort of makes for short trips. Then again, if that will go just a little bit fast, you wouldn't need much clothing to get there and back.

"If you don't know what the Ridler is, then this vehicle is not for you"

I've seen the show Rides, I know what the Ridler is, but in all of that high end high profile hotrod glory, with the vehicle's pricetag, it still isn't for me!! [)]

When it comes to throwing names like the Ridler Award around, as well as constructing vehicles for Ridler Award status, money and practicality may not have any limits as to what can be done with an automobile. This is the big buck, under the big top kinda stuff that makes me say, "you know, if I won the lottery......."

That car isn't going anywhere until it shows up at B/J.

                Interesting, but nice.

With the grille changes, to me it looks like a previous generation of the Volvo 1800ES sport wagon.....

                  Nice custom, but $1 million?

I'm afraid he's several years too late to the party...the high dollar customs sold at B-J in 2004-5 didn't bring that much. And they wouldn't bring that today.

A lot or [u]really historic </u> rods aren't worth that much...at least until the "gotto have it cycle" returns to rods.

Definitely needs half-in-the-bag rich dudes trying to be cool for the camera and Amy Assiter bidding to get that kind of money.

Man that went on the auction block fast. It seems like I was reading about it just getting on the show car circuit not all that long ago.

I remember reading how upset the Ferrari folks were when they found out about this car.

I would dearly love to drive that thing around a little.

In order to compete for the Ridler, the car has to be showing for the first time. That means the car has only went from Jan till now to be for sale. I saw the car at this years Autorama. Really a beautiful piece of work. The three "suitcases" under the hood are really access covers.
