  • Jeep camper copy of Wagonaire camper attachment?

Didnt some manufacturer offer a tent attachment similar to this for a Studebaker Wagonaire back in the day? Does anyone have a picture of it?

A few months ago somebody posted a pic in a thread of a hard-body camper that fit into the rear of a Wagonaire. Very awkward looking thing, but made commercially. Maybe someone will remember that pic or the thread.

I think I saw one in the back of a Popular Science magazine from that era. I have a collection of them back at my parents place...I guess I best look through them.

There was a '55 or '56 Chrysler wagon at Hershey 5 or 6 six years back (maybe longer?) that had a camper like whats on that Jeep. IIRC that wagon was coral and white and the 'tent' was blue. I'll look for some pix. In the mean time hopefully Mr. Shepherd was there and snaped som pix and can post 'em?

Ford had one for their wagons in the 70's.

Ive seen one for a wagonare. Um... Get the book "Studebaker Remembered" (you know, the one the south bend tribune put out a few years back. they also have South Bend remembered, Plymouth remembered, and so on.) Go to the later 60s part of the book. They have a pic of one.

Chris, take a picture of it.
Ive looked through many websites and cant find any pics or who manufactured such an accessory. But, its a fun challenge to find it.
