    Monarch Tractor Electric Tractor

The Monarch name has been resurrected, as I believe it was originally a crawler-tractor company that was purchased by Allis-Chalmers back in the day.
I would like to have a 40 horsepower all-electric compact 4x4 tractor with a front loader, perhaps this company will offer one some day soon. No diesel engine noise, vibration or exhaust smell like I am accustomed to from my Yanmar-powered John Deere compact tractor. Speaking of John Deere, why haven't they offered an electric compact tractor yet?

^ Are you implying that we've had an Autopilot failure?

I think these could work very well in a number of applications. I set up a smaller, 25hp tractor for a shopping mall in Montana, that was mainly used for snow removal. Their operating conditions would've suited something like this very well. It's odd that they don't give the actual battery capacity, but just runtime. My quickndirty math says 120kWh, but that seems a bit high.
      Whirling dervish of misinformation.
