Some years ago my Dads friend, who had a woodworking business got a shipment of raw wood in from somewhere down south and kept cutting through minie balls. He had a Lot of them saved in his office. I think it was walnut, he done thousands of chair arms.••••• That said, those trees were post-battle so grind out the stumps and move on. Lumber poaching is nothing new. and the average bystander doesn’t question guys with Chainsaws.
