  • Things to do in Minnesota in June

    Besides slapping mosquitoes, I mean.

Thinking of heading to Minnesota in June. Often I go for the big "back to the fifties" show at the fairgrounds, but I have done that a few times and hot rods are really not my favorites, so please give me your opinions.

What is happening in June and what dates?
    -car shows
    -flea markets
    -swap meets
    -tractor/farm shows
    -old and funky stuff
    -old radios
    -a cappella or barbershop singing

I know a trip to ax man surplus store is in order, but that can happen any time.

    Thanks

Most of the tractor shows tend to be in August & September from my observation. State fair too. There maybe some regular car shows, but they will be smaller ones. Not sure about your other ideas its been a while. There are some polka festivals in various places during the summer but not my thing so unaware of any details.

      Roy,

BTT50's is the biggun but there's a heavy list of car shows all that month. Our club is having a meeting on July 27th that you would really like:
June 27 – North Star Chapter Meeting Chanhassen MotorPlex
8150 Audubon Rd Chanhassen, MN 55317. You would really enjoy this.

As for just about every other weekend... there is a meeting coming up in a couple of weeks that Jerry Pearson (our meet chairman) will go to where everyone having an event shows up with their flyers and they put it all together for a comprehensive list. When that comes together I will make sure to contact you.

Plus I have some radio parts for you so we'll need to get together. I live right by one of the Ax-Man stores so that will work out.
