It's going to be black, one of the reasons I decided not to try it myself!

          Worth the wait

It's been a year and a month, but the car is finally painted. Sanding and buffing in progress. The deal was he would chip away at it between regular jobs, which kept my cost down. It's looking good, should have it home by Saturday. Then I have a big puzzle to put back together.

That's going to be a really nice looking car. You must have been going nuts for a year waiting to get it back.
I see it went to the paint shop just bear metal, is that something you did just before sending it out or had it been that way for a while?

The reason I ask is my car is covered in cheap buzz can primer because I was afraid it would start to get surface rust.

                Joe,
Hope to make Reedsville this year, and RI next. Was hoping for Maine this year, but missed that one.
                Dean,
I brought it up as soon as I stripped it, so he could shoot it with epoxy primer. Part of my wait was because I wanted it covered right away, so he took it in, covered it, and put it aside 'til he finished up another side job.

Made a little headway over the holiday weekend. Got the quarter windows in, what a pain! today I got the rear bumper and some of the chrome on.

That is going to be a very handsome ride. Black is just so formal and sharp. Cant beat black and chrome.

That's going to be a fine looking ride! Get plenty of help to put the hood back on so no scratches. What's the story on the roadster? Have a great day - Dave.
