By "58 Packard coupe" most would take that to mean a 1958 Packard Hawk (K body coupe). If you really mean a car like in this topic/thread, that would be a 1958 Packard Hardtop (J body "sedan").

EDIT: They are both hardtops, but completely different bodies.

    JIM ,
For those of us that do need to keep a car stored outside , do you have any
recommendations about which type or brand of cover is good . I've always been
a bit worried about moisture getting between the cover and the body of the car.
Presumably you've worked out a solution which keeps the paint & interior good .

    Hello Bruce
that's easy. I retired the Packard from a daily driver after the '89 Las Vegas show. now it travels on my car trailer to shows that are not in Bakersfield,Ca. But it still lives OUTSIDE under a car cover 365 days a year!

    Hello There JIM ,
What a great looking car especially in that colour combination . With the
passage of time , I think these cars are really now deserving of more respect . I also wonder
that you have had the car long term and kept it looking so good .

Fantastic looking car! Beautiful and elegant, very deserving of the Packard nameplate. Do you have any pictures of the interior to share?
