    Good one Matt!

The Installation Instructions for AC-3516 says to mount them Inboard on '62 to '65's and Outboard on '66.

I know it doesn't matter on the "Custom Skytop" because of the "owners" request above. But, for the record, that Nice very original Wagonaire and your's are not "Correct".

Also, it matches the Wagonaire I sold for Stephen a couple of years ago. Was an unrestored car with a documented 5,600 actual miles.

I decided I do like the car with bumper guards. The more chrome, the better.

When I used to carry Bear, my Leonberger, I would take the back seat bottom cushion out and he would sit the floor. His head was then even with the side windows and people going by thought that he was on the seat.

r1lark - Paul, I'm all for "dog friendly" Studebakers, but this isn't one of them. Cooper hasn't ridden in the Lark, and likely won't. He weighs in at 85 pounds and wouldn't have enough room to move around in the back seat. Plus I'd never be able to get all of the hair out of the upholstery.

My late Schnauzer, Heidi, probably rode more miles in this car than any other Studebaker, though. This was 7 or 8 years ago.

Agree with Gary, great car and beautiful dog! How does the Lab like riding with the Skytop open?

Mr L: Thanks! And yes, there are amber bulbs. I just like the clear lenses better (same with the ribbed ‘61 headlight bezels).

They look very nice (dog and car). Do you have amber bulbs behind the clear parking light lenses?

Pulled the car out this evening and cleaned it up a bit. One thing that I can always count on from my Yellow Lab - he will find a way to be the center of attention.

I like it a lot! The Lark went from “a nice old car”, to “a nice old car that’s really fun to drive”.
