  • One of my two 54 wagons

I don't think either of my wagons are in here.
This one is slowly on it's way to being done up as a 60's hot rod. Nothing under the hood to show yet, been a while in the making, still a little while to go. Need to finish up the "driver" wagon first.

The rear axle is a Winters Quick Change, hanging on Chevy truck arms. Disc brakes all around

Mike, Glad you posted a couple of shots of both wagons. The Chevy truck setup is a nice idea. I'd like a couple of closer shots to see how you handled the front mount and rear coils if it's the truck setup I'm thinking of. No rush, just curiosity.

    Don't stop with a couple.

Cool ride. I have seen this car at the La Palma show many times , but I never fail to walk around it and admire it. It is great in it's honesty and simplicity. I love the Halibrands on it.

That rear end is worth more than lots of cars!

I agree, what a nice looking wagon!

Thanks for the pictures, Mike. The first time I tore a rusted Chevy truck body off a frame I looked at that suspension and thought it would make a nice setup. You took it to a very high level with the coil overs and other well chosen upgrades.

            Well done, Bob
