That does look like the Rare, Canada Only Red, that is actually Maroon.

That tells me that it is a 1963, six cylinder assembled in Canada and that it is a Custom Wagonaire only sold outside of the USA.

You can send for the Production Order from the Studebaker National Museum.

A 1956 Nash Rambler is pretty sweet as well.
    It's a shame you couldn't keep both.

Just Traded for a 1963 Wagonaire

I traded my 1956 Nash Rambler for a 1963 Wagonaire. Very happy!! Wife has named her Wanda. Definitely have some things to do for her but did get a day pass/insurance and went for two separate half hour cruises around town. Sliding roof will need seals as there is nothing there right now and the lock doesn't seem to work. The tailgate is apart, the original to the car was quite rusted out and a donor one was included and just sort of attached without any guts/window. Will need complete going through to find any other issues. Will probably want to get rid of the Carter AS carb, never liked them. Planning on keeping it fairly original though. Very excited for my first running Studee!!!!
Working...
