    Well, I knew the clutch on my 60,000 mi Lark was likely original, but I didn’t think it was never adjusted?!

    Getting the two jamb nuts apart on the pedal actuating rod took liberal amounts of pen oil and heat and they finally relented in the bench vise. I was really impressed to see the factory oxide on the rod threads. This has likely never seen air since March 1959.

    Explains why the pedal free play was about 2”....
