  • Buttercup gets wires.

I spent the last couple days running some wires. I don't care for the look of wires running along the inner fenders and fan shroud. They still run along the inner fender but they're on the underside. Click image for larger version

I run out of the 2 pin connectors. They'll be here Monday.

I spent the day finishing the wireing for the passenger side headlight, installing and wireing the relay for the AC trinary switch and compressor and installing and wireing the relay for the radiator fan and thermostat. It's getting harder and harder for these old arthritic fingers to get in those tight spaces and connect those wires. But every terminal is crimped, soldered and shrink wrapped. I still have to fabricobble a plastic box to cover and protect this ugly shite.

      Not much accomplished today.
But I did get the box made to cover those ugly wires on the relays.
I fired up my C.A.D. program. That's Cardboard Aided Design and a pair of scissors. And made a pattern.

Ttransferred that pattern to a piece of a ABS. And with the help of a couple hammers, a couple pairs of vise grips, a piece of angle iron, the 2" thick steel fabricobbling table and my old Weller soldering gun I was able to fabricobble a fairly presentable plastic box.

Yesterday I got the thermostat for that big Crown Vic fan installed and wired.

I then spent the rest of the day covering almost all the wires with convoluted tubing.

Looking good Jerry! I couldn't come up with the console for you. I've been up there three times and it isn't to be found. Bill

Ok Bill. It's strange that no one has a console that they want to turn into a few bucks.
You're the only one that's offered any help.
