    Doing nice work is something new to me. Back in the 70's and 80's when I was Dirt Tracking we didn't have time to make things look nice. Just weld it or pop rivet it on and hope you can get to the track before the first heat.
    I have a lot more time on my hands now days.

    Sorry the reverse hood hinge didn't work out for you. I would like to have seen it on a GT. I believe it is possible. But maybe not with the AC compressor mounted like yours.
    As far as the lines go, I placed a fair sized order with Summit. Part of it came from Lagrange, Ga., (one 36" #8 line) UPS delivered it the next day. One box came from Texas, via UPS, a couple days later (it was empty (was supposed to contain a 60" #6 line)). They later sent me a line that UPS made look like a hockey stick (I think. I've never actually ever seen a real life hockey stick). A couple days later I get a UPS package from Nevada. It contained a 36" #8 line. The forth package was coming from Ohio via FedEx. It rode around on the local FedEx truck 8 days before I got it this morning. The package looked like hell. It looked like it had rolled off Stone Mountain and one end was torn out. I checked the contents and only one gas line fitting was missing. What was there was.
    1. Compressor
    1. 25' aluminum gas line.
    1. Trinary switch fitting.
    1. Weld-on charging fitting.
    4. 1/8 NPT X 3/8 inverted flare fittings (ordered 5, received 4) for the fuel pumps.
    Moving right along. Making progress.

    Jerry, did you get the hard lines locally or from Vintage? I like your idea and may do the same on mine. By the way, I had to remove the reverse opening hood and put the standard hinged one on. That was because I mounted the A/C compressor on the right side of the engine and the hinge mounting plate wouldn't clear the compressor. I tried moving just about everything and just could not get the hood to close. Frustration got me and I gave up and put the hood on factory style. Keep up the pic's, thanks, Bill.

    Today I got the AC condenser installed. The installation includes hard lines, drier and the trinary switch.

    I'm not going to run a fan on the condenser to start with, (I have a HUGE Crown Vic/Lincoln Town Car fan behind the radiator) but I installed the hard lines so it will be easy to put one on in the future if need be.
