Now THAT looks awesome! Have always loved the "Cobra competition" design.

IMO, much better and more aggressive than the Salt Flats discs you had before...

its a lot of fun to drive and that little ls motor is a treat.
There is a really nice feel turning/ cornering with that front end and a big fat sway bar.

Thanks for the coverage of your nice pickup. I really like it! Having been a friend of Bob Bourke's I really like the design (the R better than the 2R).

I have owned two C cab restomod pickups with Chevrolet/Pontiac front clips, 350/400, AT, ps, pdb, A/C, etc. I liked them. I always thought that they were like driving a long wheelbase Camaro/Firebird.

I used a led tailight from a 67 camaro fits nice ,and they are bright.
i used clear motorcycle edging to go around the housings to keep them from chaffing the box.
The most work was trying to figure out how to keep the box closed!😂

    Looking good!

I have the same tail light kit from Classic Ent. How was it to install? What type of brake/turn lights did you use - thin LED strips (not much room to work with)? Any tips/advice for the install?

I'm considering making some modifications to fit and weld the piece from Classic Ent permanently.

    Best regards,
    Kelly

The master cylinder did the trick, after driving it a few times letting the pads bed in the are very good,
There was another small issue with the rear calipers that took a little searching on the www. They are early firebird calipers that require the pistons to be set, then the hand brake cables then bleed.
The wheels in the avatar photo were dropped off at the shop to fit another truck, I jacked up the back of the Studebaker and stuck the wheel in to see what it would look like.
my intention was always to use the moon discs.
i have been quite surprised at the ride and feel of the truck.
i look forward to some road trips.

The truck looks awesome. It would look even more awesome in MY garage. Good job on it.

nice work...looks great! did the m/c swap work out for the brakes? confused about the old school 5 spokes and WW (and pie crusts?)rubber in your photo above your forum name, and the moon discs on the truck now. just wondering is all. with the colour you chose I'm sure a lot of folks will be surprised that the truck has full pussy-foot suspension and LS power!
