  • 1953 Commander Starliner

    I'm reposting a picture of my car to test the new forum. My 1953 Commander has a final assembly date of July 7, 1953. That was my third birthday. Tahoe Green and Olympic Gray. Click on photo to enlarge.

    Looks great - color question - was there a darker gray also offered in '53?

      According to my color chips there was a Tahoe Gray. It looks much darker.

        There is Tahoe Green as on the lower part of your car. The light gray is Olympic Gray. The dark gray is Tacoma Gray.

        EDIT: I believe that Tacoma Gray was only offered as a single color, not as part of a two-tone combination.

                Looks more like, either, Alamo Tan, or Tuscan Tan?
