WOW, that's NICE! & welcome to the forum, nice to have one more European among us! & I see your're living down in a real nice part too.
(I guess since you're more south European you'll do a total restoration with new paint & all? I would save that look thou...)

        Welcome, Christophe!
And don't worry about your language. Your message is perfectly understandable.
Most Americans don't speak English as well.

'38 is a beautiful car. Another stunning example from the studios of Raymond Loewy.
I believe there is a very active group of Studebakers in western Europe, France, Netherlands.

          Hello
Normaly no, that i said me when i bought it but i hesitate between the last motor of a AVANTI, the small block, or change
by a chevrolet 286ci (i remember) it's a profesionnal will change and ameliorate it. I prefer keep a new small block as AVANTI

            Hello
Thank you for your message, effectively, if you go in France, don't forget to send me a email. I live in Dordogne, where the préhistoric men live a long time ago.
For my commander 1938, i must remove a lot of think, paint as the same, motor and break and sellerie, because very endommaged.
regards Click image for larger version

I think Christophe from Nancy, Lorraine might write something here also...?
Anyway; I've lived in Holland from 2001 until Januari this year & they have a good part storage for Studebakers. (The Swedish club might probably be the biggest in Europe, loads of American cars here, long distances to drive sometimes, that's the reason...)
                  Good Luck!

Amazing how it turned completely from Blue to Green! It must be reflection or lighting.
