ABC 7 Chicago will be featuring Studebaker's every morning this week on Roz Varon's "I Love My Car" segment. It is broadcast in the 0615 to 0625 block.
You can vote for your favorite car on the station's website. Roz has been very gracious in devoting a week to the STude driving event.

WGN Chicago will be doing a segment on Drive Your Stude Day on the Noon News on September 8. The Blackhawk Chapter will have a nice selection of cars inicluding restos, survivors and hotrods. The WGN Noon News is available on cable station WGN America. WGN has also been very nice in offering approximately four minutes of national publicity.

Tune in if you can. Vote for your favorite Stude on the ABC 7 website.

The Iroquois Chapter is anticipating some coverage on the 6:00 PM newscast on WKBW TV (ABC 7) for Western New York. Some of you may remember radio WKBW in the late fiftys - early sixtys, especially late at night when the atmosphere was just right - 50,000 watts.

It's not local news, but it's as close as I can get until after the event happens~

Then again- a local radio show is interviewing some club folks again this year,
but I have no details on that- it wasn't my department- you see...

Potomac Chapter didn't plan a major activitiy for IDYSD because our chapter picnic is the next day. However, member Bob Devore did organize a local event, new story which appeared in today's Martinsburg Journal-
