    The date is September 14, 2019. This does coincide with the final day of the International Meet in Mansfield Ohio and so some chapters have adjusted their schedules to reflect this and not conflict with it. However, here are some listings that I have received for What's Happening. Look it over, it's not too late to have your event listed for the September What's Happening.

    MINNESOTA, 7th, Rogers, North Star Chapter to celebrate International Drive Your Studebaker Day by attending the Ellingson Annual Car Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Food, fun, prizes. There will be Free Will Donations. Contact Steve, 763-635-2340. Website: https://northstarstudebakers.com/.

    MONTANA, 7th, Miles City, Yellowstone Chapter celebrates International Drive Your Studebaker Day by meeting at 1p.m. at High Plains Car Show. Host: Tom Clarke, 406-853-3353.

    MANITOBA, 8th, Winnipeg, Buffalo Chapter to celebrate International Drive Your Studebaker Say at Big Guys on Meadowland Dr. This is the same place as our Christmas party.     NORTH CAROLINA, 13th & 14th, Maggie Valley, North Carolina Chapter presents its annual Tri-State Meet. If you missed last year’s event because of the hurricane, now’s your chance to catch up.     ALABAMA, 14th, Hartselle, North Alabama Chapter to celebrate International Drive Your Studebaker Day in conjunction with the Beeline Highway Classics & Cruisers with a cruise-in at the Depot. Studebakers will meet at the 165 exit 328 at 4 p.m. in the commuter parking lot next to the Chevron gas station. We will then cruise on to the Depot as a group. Food, drinks and shopping available.     ARIZONA, 14th, Amado & Green Valley, Southern Arizona Chapter to celebrate International Drive Your Studebaker Day and Membership Appreciation Day. Meet at Longhorn Grill & Saloon on 28851 S. Nogales Highway at 11 a.m. Lunch will be paid for by our chapter excluding alcoholic beverages. Some of our members want to caravan to Amado. One group will meet at 10 a.m. at the American Fence Co. 1111 E. Valencia Rd. and depart at 10:15 driving west on I-19 exiting at #48, drive west on Arivaca Rd., then turn right to go south on South Nogales Hwy. The big skull in on your right. The east side folks and the Benson folks will meet at 10 a.m. at the corner store/gas station in Corona de Tucson at Houghton & Sahuarita Rd. and depart at 10:15 a.m. Once we get to Amado, we will kick some tires outside and get ready to eat.     NEBRASKA, 14th, Sedalia, Conestoga Chapter to celebrate International Drive Your Studebaker Day by joining the Mile High section of the Mercedes Benz club for a visit to Cherokee Castle 6113 N. Daniesl Pard Rd. Mildred “Tweet” Kimball purchased the castle in 1954 in part to fulfill her dream of starting a cattle ranch and introducing the Santa Gertrudis cattle breed to Douglas County. The castle is a rare example of 15th century architecture. It is filled with world class art, antiques and rare books.     WASHINGTON, 14th, Tenino, Tacoma Area Chapter to celebrate International Drive Your Studebaker Day with a drive to Tenino. We’ll gather in Tenino at 12:30 p.m. to display our Saturday Studebakers in the parking area by Scotty-B’s Restaurant and the Supermarket, at the East end of Tenino. Then we will go to the Depot Museum to see and learn, among other things, the history of the wooden money that made Tenino famous, and also visit next door at the Ticknor School – an authentic one room schoolhouse, along with a logging display.
