  • Is this car and seller on eBay for real ? It looks like a scam.

    Hi guys,
have any of you looked at this car on eBay? Item number 142114584617

If you look at his other cars they all look like they are in different locations.

Rare as it is, it really does look like a scam.

    What are your thoughts ?

    Regards
    Greg Diffen

But look at the negative he has as a seller. The buyer says excellent, gives him a thumbs up and a negative!!!!???? Me thinks the negative is a mistake. His other two sales with vehicles are positive.

If one were interested in bidding on the car, contact Ebay about conditions of sale, escrow and other options. Would need to pay on delivery I would think.

Is that really a President? He previously had a '31 President touring car advertised, now removed from listing, that clearly had a 6 cyl engine. On the other hand touring cars (Phaetons?) were not common by that time.
            American iron, real old school
With two tone paint, it sure is cool

Its got 8 cylinders and uses them all
With an overdrive that just won't stall

With a 4 barrel carb and dual exhausts
With 4.23 gears it can really get lost

Its got safety belts and I ain't scared
The brakes are good and the tires are fair.

Tried to sell her, but got no taker
I"ll just keep driving my Studebaker

I believe I saw that car advertised on an estate sale in the Netherlands about a month ago. It looked a bit neglected. If I can find the link, I'lll post it..

Looks legit to me Dan is giving up his eMail and Phone Number so you can Call and find out what Country it's in and go from there.

Would a '27 President be a 6 Cyl.? That must have been Pre-Pierce Arrow.

"If you look at his other cars they all look like they are in different locations." Huh? He can't have cars in different locations and be legit? Guess I better never try selling any of mine!
