Thanks for sharing the link. It looks like he got most of the cars that were there.

It helps if you are not pulling a trailer loaded with Studebaker parts.

The paint does have a fade effect. I'm not sure if it was black to a burgundy color or if it was just the way the light reflected at different angles. That was one of the cars I didn't spend enough time looking at. The windows were so dark that I couldn't see the interior very well.

Wow ! Does that fade from black to the burgundy like it looks in the photo ? Doesn't seem like the blue car beside it would cause that..but, VERY nice either way, thanks 52-fan !

I wanted a better picture of the 55, but I missed my chance while the hood was down. It is a very nice car.

    IDYSD in Branson, MO

If you are on Facebook you may have seen my posts there, but I know not everyone is on Facebook. As usual, IDYSD coincided with the Orphan Car Show in Branson, Missouri hosted by the Ozark Trails chapter. The attendance of my brother's 57 Transtar was in doubt right up until Thursday night due to problems with getting his new disc brake set up installed, but he made it.
The trip went well and the meet was great as usual. We got to see several of our forum friends as well as others. Too much to do and not enough time as normal. The only hitch was a leak in Joe's fuel line near the tank. A bit of in parking lot repair was in order. My 52 ran great both ways so I can't complain. I love driving the curves in the Ozarks.
