Why not send President, Tom Curtis, an email - he may be able to help out or advise as he runs a paint / chemicals company.

5brown1, seems like that was the color our Sky Hawk was...at least close.

Wouldn't that be air force blue in 56?

I like the '56 Air Force Blue quite a bit better than the '57 Azure Blue, I don't like the slightly Purple shade of blue it has, I think that means too much Red in the mix.

ID:	1708052 Thanks to Craig P. for one of his wonderful High Definition Nikon Photos.

Of course the Final resulting look will depend a lot on the Car's Shape and Trim, Style, Two-Tone Color or not etc. of the Car it is going on, and Steve has not given us that.

"Wouldn't that be air force blue in 56?"

RadioRoy, I really never looked it up, it was still a factory paint job when we got it, and I just had it matched when I re-painted it. That is why I put the disclaimer "at least close" in there, ha ! It seems like Dodge had an extremely close match, but it was in 75 or 76 when I re-painted it. A really neat little fellow there in Alabama where we were living at the time named Irby Ridgeway gave his approval of the color match. He was quite a neat old fellow and had LOTS of Studebakers of his own, and as we thought the world of him, we deemed it good enough, ha !

I am exploring options for a 57 Golden Hawk. It is the wife's car and the color will be her choice. I'm surprised that there aren't any really good pictures of the color yet.

Other than being REALLY common on Golden Hawks, the Tiara Gold Metallic with Arctic White Fin is awfully hard to beat!
