    I'm considering one without p/s or p/b...has anyone added these options to a car that came without them?...are they even available?

    Mine has ps but standard brakes and it really doesn't need pbs if everything is in good working order , they do have big brakes . If uou buy one let me know so we can get you and your car in the registry . As it stands today we only have 47 66 Daytonas listed ..... not many left , they are a very nice driving car .

      Added power steering and power brakes to my Wagonaire. Bought a complete power steering set from fellow forum member. Quite a few parts involved, would be easier if you could find a doner car.
      As for the power brakes, I did find a doner car and removed everything I needed, booster, brackets, pedal assembly, brackets, ( converted from stick to automatic), steering column, and shift arm.
      Can be done.

        I would prefer one without ps or pb. Have you driven the car in question? Of course the front end must be in good shape and properly lubricated, with proper alignment, proper size/type of tire and proper air pressure.
        If you feel that ps and pb are required, I suggest waiting for a car with them.

          As far as '66 Daytonas having "Big brakes", remember that the '66's could be had with the 6 Cyl. Engine, Power Train AND Brakes, adequate but but not all that.

          Also if a V8, the Steering will be a bit harder.

          So Six or Eight does matter, depending on your goals for the Car.

            Don't forget that the 66 V8 is about 175 #s lighter than the 259 or 289 with the same front suspension . We have a 65 Wagonaire without ps and it steers very nicely with that lighter V8

              Yes, I agree and a '66 Wagonaire weighs about 500 pounds more than a '66 Daytona, with similar equipment.
