  • Rhode Island Meet

I just registered for the Rhode Island Meet. It will be my first Studebaker Intl Meet. Does anyone have any idea how many cars are likely to be there?

We are planning for 600, but 400 is a more realistic number. The weather is a big factor.

BTW, the deadline for registering without incurring a $10 penalty is coming up on May 26th.

Had near 800 at SB in '07....that figure included the Packard group. (oh, and also the Avanti folks....can't forget about them!!)

The numbers are typically lower on either coast. Very few people we asked at the zone meet in South Bend were planning to go. I'm sure it will still be a great meet and there will be some cars you won't see at the more central locations.

I will be leaving Buffalo, NY early Sunday morning. Probably using I 90 to I 95. Drove to South Bend last month in my 62 GT Hawk so the "Road" Hawk is ready to go! See you there.
